Middlesbrough Football Club, a club who narrowly avoided extinction in 1986 as it teated on the brink of liquidation, is a club of great north-eastern pride. The loyal fans of this great Teeside club have seen more heartache than possibly any other club in the country. Last seasons roller coaster ride of elation and sorrow was almost too much for some Boro supporters, but even as the stars started to leave the people of teeside new that the start of the new campaign will be fought with vigour and with the arrival of the briiliant Paul Merson the fans know that The Boro will soon be back where they rightfully belong...... back with the elite....... back in the Premiership.......
